Chrystal graduated with an honours diploma from triOS College Business Technology and Healthcare in January of 2017. After successfully passing the provincial paralegal exam with the Law Society of Upper Canada (now the Law Society of Ontario), she became a fully licensed Paralegal and Commissioner of Oaths and Affidavits in March, 2017.

She completed her internship at a law office in Mississauga, whilst being mentored by a fellow paralegal and a Small Claims Court Deputy Judge. Once the internship placement was completed, she started her legal career working for a large corporate law firm located in downtown Toronto, which laid a strong foundation of broad experience including civil litigation and insurance defence matters.

Having grown up in Halton Region, in a country setting, Chrystal has always had a great passion for the outdoors and small-town living. She knew that working in the ‘Big City’ does have a lot to offer but working in a small boutique law firm would be more personally rewarding and enable her to help people and families directly. Therefore, she decided to join PeffersLaw here in Milton in July 2020, where she can be of greater benefit to people and develop strong client relationships within the community.

In her spare time, Chrystal enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors whether it be hiking the Bruce Trail, going kayaking or spending time by the Credit River.
